Auto Sales Manager

Location: Veneto Area

The Role

The purpose of this role is to drive company growth in the Auto business by leading and developing international business development, network expansion, onboarding new distributors, and supporting product development to increase sales and market share in the short and medium term. The manager will also lead and coach the sales team to achieve targeted sales and contributions while maintaining brand integrity in the marketplace.

Responsibilities and Activities
  1. Identify strategies to meet sales targets and contribute to setting those targets.
  2. Monitor competitors and market trends.
  3. Set and adjust sales goals, and implement commercial plans to achieve them.
  4. Develop individual quotas and assign territories.
  5. Provide accurate sales forecasts.
  6. Lead and expand the distribution sales network and product adoption.
  7. Suggest corrective actions as needed.
  8. Contribute to product collection definitions and identify critical success factors in collaboration with product development.
  9. Collect product feedback and perform competitive benchmarking.
  10. Grow the business unit by increasing customers and orders, managing the department, and setting sales directives.
  11. Engage with customers to ensure sustainable and healthy business operations, including timely payments and strong customer relations.
  12. Provide regular commercial feedback to improve products, communication strategies, and supply chain processes.
  13. Coordinate internal and external teams, ensuring their training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Product knowledge, especially regarding textures and materials.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for customer management.
  • Proven experience in managing market relationships and networks.
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills.
