Job Description: Rate Sales - Cross Asset Sales at Aurel Partners

BGC Partners, a leading global brokerage and financial technology company, operates through various brands including Aurel Partners, which is part of the BGC Group. Aurel specializes in providing top-tier execution capabilities, macro thematic risk analysis, and tactical services across all asset classes to institutional investors.

The role is within the Cross-Asset Sales team, focusing on G10 and EM rates products, including cleared swaps, inflation, nominal, and linker bonds. The position is based in New York and involves building deep client relationships, executing product interests with anonymous execution, and contributing to process improvements.

Responsibilities:
  • Sales within the Cross Asset Sales Group, focusing on Rates products.
  • Based in New York.
  • Salary and commission-based role emphasizing individual and team performance.
  • Collaborate with a highly experienced, entrepreneurial team.
  • Generate timely and executable trade ideas.
  • Assist in onboarding new client accounts across macro products.
  • Enhance existing processes and contribute to technological and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably on the sell side, with proficiency in macro financial products such as Interest Rate Swaps, ASW, Inflation swaps, Bonds, and Listed rate derivatives.
  • Strong existing client relationships focused on rates products.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently.
