QIMA is seeking an on-site QHSE Auditor in Italy to audit supplier manufacturing sites for labor rights, health and safety, and environmental compliance. You will produce detailed audit reports and advise clients on improvements, while engaging with factory management with integrity.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of QHSE auditing experience, degrees in Engineering/Law/Economics/Social Sciences, and proficiency in Italian and English. Master’s degree and SEDEX-type audits are a plus.

Competenze

  • Higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related major.
  • Master's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting QHSE and social audits.
  • SMETA/BSCI/SA8000/WRAP or mixed audits in the last 12 months is a plus.
  • Good command of Italian and English (spoken and written).

Mansioni

  • Audit manufacturing sites of clients’ suppliers, including labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and other standards as required.
  • Record findings in detailed reports and deliver to the client.
  • Maintain integrity and uphold standards during audits and interactions with factory staff and management.
  • Provide expertise in client meetings to tailor quality control procedures as needed.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the quality of Operations projects.

Job Description

You will be expected to:

  • Audit the manufacturing sites of our clients’ suppliers, sometimes without warning. Your areas of attention will include labor rights, health and safety, environmental security, and others, according to the applicable international standard or the client’s in-house procedure
  • Be alert to any violations, staying vigilant when dealing with factory management, and recording all your findings in detailed reports, to be delivered to the client
  • Approach your job with utmost integrity, as your conduct during an audit can have lasting consequences for the supplier, factory staff, and our clients
We May Also Request You To
  • Provide your expertise in client meetings, to create custom quality control procedures based on their specific requirements
  • Contribute your ideas for improving the quality of our Operations projects
Qualifications

It could be you, if you have:

  • A higher education degree in Engineering, Law, Economics, Social Sciences or a related major.
  • A Master's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting QHSE and social audits.
  • SMETA/BSCI/SA8000/WRAP or mixed audits done in recent 12 months is a plus
  • Good command of Italian and English (spoken and written)
