A local and established audit firm with offices in Nicosia is looking for an Audit Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be ACCA/ACA/CPA qualified and have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Reviews the information obtained from Clients against the KYC requirements.
2. Performs the transaction monitoring in accordance with the Firm’s AML policies and procedures.
3. Reviews the information obtained from Clients and completes the necessary for Client Acceptance/Continuance Procedures and handles them to the audit manager/Head of Audit.
4. Conducts the planning of the audit work with the assistance of Audit Manager.
5. Checks and prepares all audit documentation.
6. Performs audit workings and tests.
7. Conducts the field work of internal control evaluation.
8. Identifies possible risks or errors in systems and controls.
9. Assists in advance assurance engagements such as management reports, due diligence, financial information analysis and others.
10. Liaises with clients to inform them of the applicable deadlines and their obligations.
11. Provides consultation, supervision, and mentoring to auditors and junior auditors.
12. Assists in the supervision of junior auditors and auditors.
13. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
14. Assists reviewers for the performance of EQCR, Hot and Cold review of specific engagements.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

1. Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA.
2. Relevant experience of minimum 5 years in dealing with the preparation of audited financial statements.
3. Knowledge of computerized Accounting (e-soft) Systems and Microsoft Office.
4. Excellent Knowledge of Caseware.
5. Very good Knowledge of General Basic Cyprus Tax Legislation.
6. Excellent knowledge of the English language.
