Audit Manager - Nicosia

GRS Recruitment is working with a well-established service provider in Nicosia seeking to recruit an Audit Manager to join their team. We are looking for a professional individual with at least 5 years of relevant experience. If this role matches your career aspirations, we would love to hear from you today.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of international and local clients.
• Provide high-quality client service within predetermined budgets and timeframes.
• Monitor engagements, budgets, and planning of work; report to the Group Director and/or directly to the Partner.
• Review the audit team’s work to ensure compliance with ISAs and HLB’s audit methodology.
• Communicate with clients via email, phone, Teams, or in person.
• Report to the Audit Director and/or directly to the Partner regarding audit status, progress, and completion.
• Supervise, coach, and support junior team members.
• Review and prepare financial statements under IFRSs.
• Review and prepare client tax returns and computations.
• Ensure timely billing and collection of fees from clients.
• Prepare audit and advisory proposals.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Qualified (ACA and ACCA).
• At least 5 years of experience in the audit department of an accounting firm.
• Excellent knowledge of Caseware and e-audit methodologies.
• Hardworking and enthusiastic professional with career aspirations and interest in further development within our firm.
