Qonto is seeking a seasoned internal audit professional to lead mission execution for the German branch and coordinate with local providers to ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves participation in centralized audits of core processes, monitoring implementation of recommendations, and engaging in local governance activities.

Fluency in German and English is required, with strong understanding of AML regulations and independence to manage multiple audit missions within a fast-growing

Competenze

• Experience in banking or payment institutions internal audit.
• CIA certification preferred.
• Fluent in German and English; deep knowledge of German compliance (AML).
• Independent leadership capable of managing audit missions and influencing stakeholders.

Mansioni

• Lead audit missions for the German branch and coordinate with local providers to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in centralized audits of core processes (fraud management, operational risks, etc.).
• Follow up on audit recommendations with timely monitoring.
• Engage in local governance activities for the German branch (Risk Committee, risk reporting, authorities meetings).
• Assist Head of Internal Audit with annual risk assessment for the German branch.
