Job Opportunity: System and Integrator Engineer

Location: Roma, Italy

Leonardo is an international industrial group, one of the world's leading entities in Aerospace, Defense, and Security, developing multidomain technological capabilities in Helicopters, Aircraft, Aerostructures, Electronics, Cyber Security, and Space.

Within the Electronics business area, we are seeking a System and Integrator Engineer for our Rome Tiburtina headquarters.

The candidate will be responsible for:

1. Ensuring the achievement of technical milestones within scheduled time and budget;
2. Coordinating the team of engineers assigned to the specific project;
3. Managing subcontractors and implementing technical solutions for the project;
4. Supervising on-site work if necessary;
5. Reporting project progress to the Integrated Project Team;
6. Acting as the primary technical contact with the client.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience:

Expert level: 3-5 years; Senior level: 5-10 years.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of System Design and Development management of C2 systems;

Skills in verification and validation of critical systems;

Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams;

Experience in managing external subcontractors;

Excellent report writing skills;

Planning skills for activities and resources, considering external constraints;

Preferred knowledge of WAN networks, firewalls (especially Cisco environment), Cyber Security, and its application in complex systems.

Excellent command of English (C1); knowledge of French or Spanish is a plus.

Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word;

Knowledge of Project and other planning tools (e.g., Primavera);

Knowledge of container architectures (Docker, Puppet, Ansible, RedHat IdM) is a plus;

Familiarity with SAP, managing milestones and workloads.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to work mainly at the headquarters with frequent short/medium trips within Italy and abroad.

Possession of certifications such as PMI, ISIPM, CISCO, Red Hat, CISSP is considered an asset.
