Descrizione del lavoro

Who we are:
For over 50 years, we have worked closely with investment and asset managers to become the world’s leading provider of integrated investment management solutions. We are 3,000+ colleagues with diverse nationalities, educations, professional experiences, ages, and backgrounds.

SimCorp is an independent subsidiary of the Deutsche Börse Group. Following the recent merger with Axioma, we leverage the combined strength of our brands to provide an industry-leading, full, front-to-back offering for our clients.

SimCorp is an equal-opportunity employer. We are committed to building a culture where diverse perspectives and expertise are integrated into our everyday work. We believe in the continual growth and development of our employees to deliver best-in-class solutions to our clients.

Why this role is important for us:

SimCorp Sofia and SimCorp Dimension are two software products developed and sold by SimCorp. They support decision-making, administrative, evaluation, and investment control processes, especially in the insurance market.

You will be part of the Italian SimCorp Development Team, which consists of small, cross-functional groups. Team members are experts on SimCorp Sofia, writing code, fixing, and enhancing the software and its development tools.

What you will be responsible for:
  • Developing and committing to the Version Plan, aiming for shared targets
  • Contributing to the specification of new functionalities, sharing analysis responsibilities with consulting staff
  • Supporting clients and colleagues
  • Conducting research, design, prototyping, and exploration activities
  • Creating and executing manual tests
  • Developing product knowledge in a specific domain
  • Contributing to technical and functional documentation of SimCorp Sofia
What we value:

We value your ability to contribute and thrive in the role. The way you acquired your skills is less important than your current capabilities. We expect you to be proficient in several of the following and eager to learn the rest:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics or a STEM field
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative working skills
  • Proficiency in English (speaking and understanding)
  • Good knowledge of algebra
Benefits:

We offer an attractive salary and bonus scheme, along with a focus on work-life balance through a hybrid workplace model, extra vacation days, and tailored professional development to support your career goals.
