A consulting firm is seeking a Regional Transformation Expert to conduct a study on economic opportunities in the Karlovy Vary region. This position requires at least 10 years of experience in regional industrial policy and fluency in English. Overview

Transformation of the Karlovy Vary Region and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is for a consultant (the "Service Provider") to carry out a Study on Karlovy Vary region's economic opportunities and challenges for the transition to a green economy and energy system (the "Project").

Location

Karlovy Vary Region, Czech Republic.

Duration

The intended start date is October 2025 and the services shall be provided for a period of 9 months from this date.

Key Expert

Regional transformation expert (Cat. At least a bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional qualification) in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering; Industrial Economics or Innovation Management; Fluency in written and spoken English is required (CEFR C1) (minimum requirement).

Qualifications and Skills

Fluency in written and spoken Czech would be an asset.

Minimum requirements: at least 10 years of experience in regional industrial policy or clean technology deployment.

Clean tech scale-up and industrial symbiosis (minimum requirement).
