Summary
Role Purpose:
The Associate Director EPM manages external business, leads interactions with Third Parties related to compliance aspects, business processes, supports TRD RLT and project teams, and maintains oversight of externalized development and supply activities at assigned CDMOs.
About The Role
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, acting as the main contact for all supplier-related matters at the portfolio level.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with suppliers, promoting open communication and proactive problem-solving; serve as primary escalation point.
  • Represent TRD RLT in contract discussions, collaborating with procurement, QA, and other stakeholders.
  • Monitor and control CDMO performance to identify gaps or risks and take appropriate actions.
  • Lead issue resolution and prevention initiatives aligned with internal processes, Master Service Agreements, and Quality Agreements.
  • Maintain all assigned companies in GMP approved status, tracking assessments, audit preparations, and updates as needed.
  • Ensure awareness of changes at assigned CDMOs, including equipment, capabilities, and organizational changes.
  • Support technical outsourcing requests with recommendations, RFP creation, and discussions, ensuring alignment with RLT strategy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements in supplier management, including technology and automation.

Education Background / Professional Experience

  • Master of Science with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience.
  • Experience in supplier management, procurement, or related roles; supplier relationship management preferred.
  • Broad knowledge of pharmaceutical development, GMP, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven track record in leading multidisciplinary, multicultural teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and strong analytical abilities; deep understanding of supply chain and vendor management.
