General Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.

The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving sales targets supported by defined resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops her/his commercial team.

Essential Functions:

  • Builds brand awareness for BeOne Medicines and its products in the oncology market.
  • Establishes strong relationships with KOLs, study groups, and key accounts.
  • Prepares the market for product approvals.
  • Implements marketing strategies for new launches.
  • Builds and structures a competent commercial field team in Italy.
  • Achieves regional sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Plans and monitors budgets for the region and clusters.
  • Sets sales goals and analyzes market performance.
  • Identifies developmental needs of team members and provides coaching and training.
  • Provides scientific advice and support to KOLs.
  • Leads cross-functional teams and collaborates with marketing and market access teams.
  • Participates in scientific meetings and workshops.
  • Provides leadership to foster high performance, engagement, and a positive culture.
  • Establishes strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensures compliance with ethical standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Scientific education and experience in a similar role; life science degree preferred.
  • Over 5 years of leadership experience in the oncology market.
  • Proven success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Deep knowledge of the oncology market, especially lung and gastric cancers.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and networking skills.
  • Strong contacts with oncologists and opinion leaders.
  • English proficiency and computer skills required.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Education: University degree in science or business; minimum 10 years of industry experience.

Supervisory responsibilities include managing local/regional sales teams, hiring, and development.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.

Travel: Approximately 60% of the time.
