General Description:

Under the direction of the Director of Commercial Operations Italy, this individual is responsible for maximizing the performance of BeOne Medicines' oncology products in Italy, managing a team of Key Account Managers.

The Associate Director Regional Field Manager (RFM) implements marketing and sales strategies and is responsible for achieving sales targets supported by defined resources and budgets. The RFM also coaches and develops her/his commercial team.

Essential Functions:

  • Building brand awareness for BeOne Medicines and its oncology products.
  • Establishing strong relationships with KOLs, study groups, and key accounts.
  • Preparing the market for product approval.
  • Implementing marketing strategies for upcoming launches.
  • Building and structuring a competent commercial field team within Italy.
  • Achieving regional sales goals and performance metrics.
  • Planning and monitoring budgets for regional and cluster teams.
  • Setting sales goals and analyzing market performance.
  • Identifying development needs of team members and providing training and coaching.
  • Providing scientific advice and support to KOLs.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments and leading the field cross-functional team.
  • Monitoring market changes and competitor activities.
  • Supervising key account plans and working with Market Access to facilitate account access.
  • Working closely with Marketing to optimize field force effectiveness.
  • Aligning strategies with Medical, Marketing, and Market Access teams.
  • Participating in scientific meetings and workshops.
  • Providing leadership to foster high performance, engagement, and a positive culture.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders in oncology.
  • Driving patient-centered business decisions.
  • Ensuring team compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in life sciences or related field with professional experience.
  • Over 5 years of experience leading commercial teams, especially in oncology.
  • Success in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Specific knowledge of the oncology market, particularly lung and gastric cancers.
  • Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills.
  • Motivated, solution-oriented, with a positive attitude.
  • Excellent knowledge of oncology and existing contacts with oncologists and opinion leaders.
  • Effective communication skills in English and computer proficiency.
  • Valid driver's license.

Education: University degree in science or business; minimum 10 years of industry experience.

Supervisory responsibilities include managing the regional sales team, hiring, supervising, and developing team members.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office.

Other Qualifications: Proficient in verbal and written English.

Travel: Approximately 60% of the time.
