Job Details
The Associate Director will assist the Interim Director of Marist Italy to manage branch campus operations. Major duties will include supporting day-to-day operations, developing office procedures and schedules, bookkeeping, and developing and helping to lead high impact educational experiences including internships, a lecture series, senior seminar, the honors program, and community engagement.
- Program budget and bookkeeping, in collaboration with the Interim Director.
- Manage the Marist Italy office, including day-to-day operations, vendor services, and ordering supplies.
- Develop office procedures and schedules that ensure alignment with home campus policy, appropriately translated into the Italian context.
- Develop and lead high impact practices to be defined by the Interim Director, possibly including internships, lecture series, senior seminar, honors program, and community engagement.
- Participates in on-call emergency phone rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Five or more years of experience in international education and study abroad, including supporting students’ academic, cultural, and personal adjustment to living in another culture.
- Master’s degree in relevant field.
- Fluency in Italian and English.
- Adaptability, energy, and commitment to running the best possible international programs.
- Deep knowledge of Florence.
- Experience with study abroad students and programs in Florence.
