Associate, Customer Marketing

Overview: About the role

The Associate, Customer Marketing, plays a key role in supporting category development and brand growth in Italy. She/he will actively contribute to achieving Net Sales and Market Share targets, partnering with Sales to ensure the execution of agreed plans in the local market. Responsibilities include implementing consumer and trade promotions, including special packs.

About the Team / Department

You will report to the Associate Manager of Customer Marketing and collaborate closely with trade marketing, the sales team, and digital agencies.

Responsibilities:

1. Analyze sell-out data
2. Develop and manage display portfolios
3. Create special pack plans aligned with regional promo catalogs
4. Develop trade presentations using regional materials
5. Design POP and other marketing and sales materials for assigned categories/segments
6. Support category budget management
7. Coordinate category promotional activations, both national and ad hoc for specific customers
8. Assist in developing category media plans and e-commerce assets
9. Manage the Autan brand
10. Support overall category management activities

Experience you’ll bring:

1. University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar; a Master’s degree is a plus
2. At least 2 years of experience in commercial roles, ideally combining customer marketing, marketing, and sales
3. Interest in an international career and mobility
4. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
5. Problem-solving skills and high autonomy
6. Highly organized with multitasking and prioritization abilities
7. Dynamic, curious, and proactive mindset
8. Experience with market data (e.g., AC Nielsen) is desirable
9. Fluent in Italian and English
