Job Description

Position Overview :

The Assistant Store Manager, Experience is responsible for maintaining high-quality customer service while creating an outstanding experience that allows customers to conquer the outdoors. They will support the Store Manager in all store performance areas including sales, people management & engagement, customer experience, and operational excellence. They will ensure the store achieves its targets by driving the customer relationship management (CRM) process through clienteling and after-sale customer engagement.

What You’ll Do :

  1. Achieve or exceed sales targets including both top and bottom line results.
  2. Drive Net Promoter Score (NPS) and other metrics such as conversion, average dollar per transaction (ATD), and average unit retail (AUR).
  3. Implement CRM initiatives to develop a clientele network, analyze results, capture rate, and encourage repeat purchases.
  4. Increase location’s Units per Transaction (UPT) by introducing new, underperforming, and strategic categories.
  5. Enhance customer experiences through hosting in-store events, coordinating shopping appointments, and introducing emerging categories.
  6. Resolve customer issues by investigating opportunities, developing solutions, preparing reports, and mentoring staff.
  7. Train teammates in product knowledge, brand history, and storytelling.
  8. Empower teammates to build brand loyalty and drive employee engagement.
  9. Mentor teammates to uphold brand standards of quality and authenticity while supporting collaboration.
  10. Identify and develop future leaders and external talent for the retail business.

  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
  • Experience working with affluent and luxury brands in high-traffic locations.
  • Experience with CRM tools and processes.
  • Strong analytical skills with understanding of retail metrics.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail.
  • Alignment with the brand's values: innovative, authentic, passionate, relentless, entrepreneurial.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Bonus: proficiency in another language.
