We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Assistant Sommelier for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens. The individual is passionate about wines and hospitality, a team player with good verbal and communication skills. This role requires strong interpersonal and sales skills.

Main responsibilities:
– Provide advice and guidance to guests on wine pairings.
– Offer unique wine journeys to guests.

Candidate profile:
– Previous experience in a similar role in luxury hotels is required.
– Fluent level of English and Italian languages is requested.
– Knowledge of food & service is mandatory.
– Knowledge of wines and its regions is compulsory.
– Strong interpersonal and sales skills.
