We are looking for a passionate and enthusiasticAssistant Restaurant Managerfor Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager will work in our uniqueRestaurant Trattoria sull’Albero.

The individual has a strong knowledge of restaurant operations and understanding of what makes a great customer service.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervise kitchen and waiters and provide assistance.
  • Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues.
  • Ensure that the restaurant adheres to pertinent health and safety regulations.
  • Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders, as needed.
  • Induct and mentor new staff members.
  • Schedule shifts and assign tables to waitstaff.
  • Assist guests in any request they might have.

Candidate profile:

  • At least two years of previous experience in a similar role in luxury hotels is required.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software.
  • Strong customer service attitude.
  • Fluent level of English is requested. Knowledge of any other language is considered as a plus.
  • Knowledge of food & service is mandatory.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Details of the offer:

Full time, seasonal contract

Period: July 2025 – November 2025
