The European Commission is seeking a Postdoctoral Researcher in Administrative Law focusing on cultural heritage. The successful candidate will work on legal comparisons and the implications of digitalization in audiovisual law. This role is full-time and offers an opportunity to engage in interdisciplinary research.

Competenze

Offer Description

The successful candidate will contribute to the consolidation of the field of study of Administrative Law, particularly regarding the national and international legal dimension of cultural heritage and its protection, management, and valorization delivered by public bodies. The researcher must also deal with the legal comparison between different systems and must adopt a historical, economic, and political perspective in the study of tangible and intangible cultural heritage and its regulation. In particular, the researcher will focus on international and comparative law in the field of digitalization, reproduction, and use of image, including copyright law, with attention to audiovisual content and cinema. This includes the legal aspects related to audiovisual law and the circulation, licensing, and protection of film and multimedia works. The researcher must interact with other disciplines both expressly referred to cultural heritage (such as history of art, archaeology, museology) and concerning broader areas related to public institutions and creative industries (such as economics, political science, statistics, sociology, computer science).
