  • Location : Rogers Park-Lake Shore Campus
  • Salary Range : $50,000 – $85,000 per year (nine-month appointment)
  • Type : Full-Time, Exempt
  • Application Deadline : Open until filled, with a desired start date of 08 / 11 / 2025

Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and / or graduate courses in criminal justice and criminology topics
  • Engage in departmental, college, and university service activities
  • Maintain high-quality research through primary research, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at conferences
  • Pursue external research funding

Qualifications

  • PhD in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or related field
  • Experience teaching Research Methods at undergraduate level
  • Research experience in corrections and / or desistance from crime
  • Record of securing external research funding
  • At least one publication in Crime and Justice : A Review of Research
