Assistant Professor Positions at the Department of Management and Technology

The Department of Management and Technology at Bocconi University invites applications for several full-time tenure-track faculty positions at the Assistant Professor level in the following areas:

• Entrepreneurship, Innovation Management and Strategy
• Management Science (applications of Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science and AI to Management)
• Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management

Appointments are expected to begin September 1st, 2026.
Applicants must explicitly identify their preferred area in their application materials and may indicate a second area if applicable. Candidates will be considered only for the area(s) they have explicitly applied to.
The Department of Management and Technology has a longstanding scholarly tradition in the fields of technology, strategy, and organization theory. In 2024 the department was ranked 10th worldwide (4th in Europe) for business and management in the QS Worldwide University Ranking. The department is currently in a sustained period of internationalization, with 11 international faculty members hired across all levels in the last five years.
Applicants should have outstanding records in a doctoral program and strong demonstrated ability or potential for high quality research at the forefront of their field. Ability and interest to teach in undergraduate and master programs are essential.
The Department is also interested in hiring established Assistant Professors who might be interested in discussing potential appointments.
