Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• 2+ years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, auditing, or related finance function.
• Fluency in English and Italian with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP and financial reporting systems.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to deliver accurate information.
• Analyze plant performance, manufacturing costs, and profitability trends to identify improvements and support loss reduction.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX requirements in assigned areas.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc financial reports and provide analysis to support business decisions.
• Monitor inventory valuation, standard costing, and bill of materials accuracy for reliable product costing.
• Review pricing data and analyze margins by product, customer, or market.
• Manage financial data maintenance and uploads within ERP systems (e.g., Hyperion).
• Support month-end closing by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and resolving discrepancies.

Job Description

As an Assistant Plant Controller, you play a key role in supporting the plant’s financial performance, reporting accuracy, and compliance activities. You work closely with the Plant Controller and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, maintain strong internal controls, and support operational decision-making in a manufacturing environment.
