Agriturismo Beatilla is a family-owned Art Eco Design Farm Resort unique in Italy for its concept, located in the beautiful countryside of Italy (Marmirolo, Mantova), very close to the city center. Description:

The practical training / Internship includes hands-on experience working at all operational levels and hotel tasks in departments such as:

1. Guest Relations
2. Reception
3. Front Office
4. Quality Service
5. Food & Beverage
6. Housekeeping
7. Checking Maintenance
8. Small Farm Operations
9. Sales & Marketing Activities

Some activities such as Front Office and Sales & Marketing will be agreed according to the candidate's Italian Language Level and depending on individual capabilities and experience, as we use PMS, IBE, and Channel Managers to manage all reservations and OTAs. Beatilla is a family/small company but with a high level of web marketing, making it very challenging for the trainee.

The Farm also has an organic department to grow vegetables and fruits.

During the internship, jobs involve the following:

The internship is valid for a period from three (3) to six (6) months depending on individual circumstances and can occur anytime during the year.

Food: Free breakfast/lunch meals included (only at the workplace and during work hours)
Transportation: Bicycle rental free use
Working hours: 6.5 hours per day - 1 day off per week (days off are only during the week and not during weekends)
Financial compensation: Bus Transportation and meals when on service

Finance: Applicants are encouraged to apply for European financial support programs such as:

2. University support and any other means for private funding for this work practice.

Candidate Requirements:

You are studying Business, Marketing, Agriculture, Hotel, Hospitality, Tourism, or Leisure studies. You are young, enthusiastic, and want to spend quality time during practical training, combining work placement with pleasure next to wonderful Italian landscapes, culture, and atmosphere. Willing to travel if required for art fairs and shows.

After this experience, the successful applicant will learn what it means to manage a small/medium company size in the Hospitality/Tourism Industry by taking care of all tasks and developing unique and strategic concepts to be “different” from other competitors in an international environment. This experience will give you the basis to open your own business in the hotel/hospitality industry one day and become an Entrepreneur.

The trainee will improve in terms of timeliness, organization, communication with clients and colleagues, speed and efficiency in serving the customer, and ability to perform multiple tasks. In addition, you will learn a new language and new terms to include in your dictionary.

The quantity and type of activities performed by each intern will depend on his/her interests, knowledge, performance, experience, and attitude. We try to involve our interns in as many activities as possible and give them increased responsibilities according to their performance and achievements.
