Assistant Manager - Reggio Emilia C.C. "I Petali", Reggio Emilia

Location: Reggio Emilia, Italy

JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981 with a single store in northwest England, is now one of the leading multi-channel retailers of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. The group has over 2,400 stores, caters to various retail segments, and prides itself on offering the latest products from top brands.

Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager supports the leadership and management of the store.

1. Achieves commercial objectives and supports the continuous growth of KPIs.
2. Manages costs and optimizes store profitability through sales strategies.

Staff Management:

1. Assists the Store Manager in optimal staff organization within the store.
2. Participates in recruiting activities in collaboration with the Store Manager.
3. Develops and motivates staff, promoting career progression within the group.
4. Ensures high quality customer service in accordance with procedures.
5. Handles complaints effectively and professionally.
6. Maintains the store's overall presentation in collaboration with the visual merchandising team to enhance profitability.
7. Ensures proper execution of product launch guidelines.

Logistics / Loss Prevention:

1. Manages incoming and outgoing merchandise.
2. Participates actively in loss prevention and control measures in agreement with the Store Manager.
3. Ensures daily cash register operations are properly managed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience managing structured stores, preferably in dynamic and multinational environments.
• Good knowledge of English.
• Leadership skills and strong relational and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
