A leading company in airport hospitality seeks an Assistant Manager for Human Resources to oversee HR functions and develop strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have 7-8 years of experience, a bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, and a passion for enhancing employee productivity and relations.

Job Scope

The Assistant Human Resources Manager handles various HR functions, including staffing, employee relations, training, payroll, and more. Works independently and with a team to support business objectives, developing strategic HR initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Manage HR functions for Dubai, including recruitment, benefits, performance, relations, and engagement
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve effectiveness in UAE
  • Ensure accurate payroll, attendance, leave, and OT records
  • Maintain departmental records and reports
  • Enhance employee productivity and commitment
  • Build relationships within the organization and support HR initiatives
  • Support change management strategies across operations
  • Build strong relationships with leadership, advising on management and leadership development
  • Facilitate engagement initiatives and build positive employee relations
  • Manage offboarding processes and exit interviews
  • Experience with Collective Bargaining environment preferred
  • Plan and execute talent sourcing activities
  • Analyze data, prepare reports, and address personnel issues
  • Handle grievances, discipline, onboarding, and staffing procedures
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects and assignments
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
  • 7-8 years of relevant experience in a sizable, fast-paced organization
  • Experience in hospitality or travel industry preferred
  • Experience in HR policy implementation advantageous
  • Independent, proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure
  • Knowledge of management principles
  • Team player with commitment to quality and deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office, HRIS, Payroll
  • Fluent in English; Italian and other languages advantageous
