Job Scope

The Assistant Human Resources Manager handles various HR functions, including staffing, employee relations, training, payroll, and more. Works independently and with a team to support organizational goals and develop strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR functions in Dubai: recruitment, benefits, performance, employee relations, retention, engagement.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to improve effectiveness in UAE.
  • Ensure accurate payroll and record keeping.
  • Maintain departmental reports and records.
  • Enhance employee productivity and commitment.
  • Build relationships within the organization and support HR initiatives.
  • Support change management and organizational development.
  • Conduct field visits and build management relationships.
  • Assist with talent sourcing, onboarding, offboarding, and employee development.
  • Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and employee communication.
  • Prepare reports and analyze personnel data.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 7-8 years of HR experience in a large, fast-paced organization, preferably in hospitality or travel.
  • Experience with HR policies, procedures, and enforcement.
  • Proactive, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of management principles.
  • Team player with strong communication skills in English and Italian; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, HRIS, and payroll systems.
