Role

The Assistant Guest Relations Manager is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experience through personalized service, attention to detail, and proactive guest engagement. This role focuses on welcoming guests, handling their requests efficiently, and assisting in creating memorable stays in line with the hotel’s high service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests warmly, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
  • Provide guests with information about the hotel, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Handle guest feedback professionally and ensure concerns are promptly addressed.
  • Maintain a high level of visibility in the hotel, interacting with guests to anticipate their needs.
  • Ensure guest preferences are noted and communicated to the appropriate departments.
  • Deliver amenities and personalized touches for VIP guests and special occasions.
  • Maintain and update guest profiles to ensure personalized service.
  • Recognize repeat guests and ensure their preferences are met.
  • Assist in coordinating special experiences for guests, enhancing their stay.
  • Handle pre-arrival communication and post-departure follow-ups as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Italian and preferably English.
  • Work experience minimum 1 year in a guest-facing role in a luxury hotel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a guest-first mindset.
  • Ability to multitask and handle requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Computer knowledge, ability to work long hours.
