Belmond Sicily is seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to support the Financial Controller in managing the financial operations of Grand Hotel Timeo and Villa Sant'Andrea. In this role, you will assist in preparing financial reports, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Finance or related fields, along with 2-3 years of experience in a financial role within luxury hospitality. Proficiency in financial management systems and fluency in Italian and English are essential.

Competenze

• At least 2-3 years of experience in a financial role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and financial control procedures.
• Fluent in both written and spoken Italian and English.

Mansioni

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support budget management and forecast activities.
• Ensure the accuracy of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
• Take part in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Maintain internal controls to safeguard hotel assets.
• Prepare financial analyses for strategic decision-making.
