Avis Budget Group is seeking an Assistant Controller in Rome for a 9-month maternity cover contract. You will supervise accounting operations under US GAAP, coordinate monthly closings, and ensure accurate financial reporting in a dynamic, global mobility company.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge (US and ITA GAAP), leadership skills, and fluency in English. Proficiency in Excel and Oracle Cloud is essential, with a track record of meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple

Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ITA GAAP.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency with Excel and ERP/accounting systems (Oracle Cloud).
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Advanced, professional English level.

Mansioni

Supervise accounting operations and ensure accuracy of financial data under US GAAP.
Coordinate monthly closing activities for reporting purposes.
Review balance sheet reconciliations.
Ensure proper recording of revenues, expenses, depreciation, accruals, and deferrals.
Review and approve adjusting and correcting journal entries.
Contribute to the preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with ITA GAAP.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation.
Support special projects.
