We are looking for an Asset Management Legal Specialist to join our pool of experts, reporting and interacting directly to the IoT Manager. The role focuses on managing and optimizing stock and hardware assets, with emphasis on the legal, customs, commercial law, and intellectual property aspects of asset management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Asset Tracking and Monitoring: Use asset management systems to track location, status, and usage of hardware assets, ensuring compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR) for devices that collect data.
  • Disposal and Replacement: Manage end-of-life assets with compliant disposal or replacement, secure data wiping, and protection of IP information.
  • Risk Management: Identify risks related to stock and hardware assets, including IP licensing, obsolescence, security vulnerabilities, and compliance with import/export regulations.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports on asset status and maintenance, and document ownership rights, license agreements, and legal contracts to ensure compliance with commercial and IP laws.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory, asset categorization, and ensure proper customs documentation and legal import status.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Schedule and oversee maintenance, coordinate with service providers, and ensure NDAs and contractual terms are observed.
  • Functional Support for Applications: Ensure licensing compliance and adherence to internal legal and compliance policies in application support.
  • Stand-by System Participation: Contribute to operational stability and understand relevant contractual and liability considerations in case of system failures.
Qualifications and Experience

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
  • Proven experience in asset management, inventory management, or a similar role
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in asset management software and tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
