Job description

Our MEMS team seeks an ASIC Designer to join our Milan office, responsible for designing, developing, testing, and integrating MEMS sensors embedded in CNS systems for aerospace and defense clients.

This role is suitable for engineers with a background in Electronics Engineering or equivalent scientific discipline, with ASIC design experience.

Responsibilities

1. Define requirements, design, model, and simulate MEMS inertial sensors using Matlab/Simulink.
2. Design, simulate, and layout ASICs for MEMS sensors.
3. Assist in prototype trimming and testing development.
4. Participate in test plan development, execute test campaigns, and analyze results.
5. Generate documentation related to design, implementation, and testing activities.

Qualifications and Skills

1. Master's degree in Electronics or related field, with at least five years of industry experience, or a PhD with two years of experience.
2. Strong knowledge of integrated electronics and architecture.
3. Experience with modeling tools such as Matlab/Simulink.
4. Ability to work independently and within a team.
5. Problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines within budget constraints.
6. Proficiency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
7. Knowledge of MEMS systems for inertial sensors is advantageous.
