Arsenalia in Italy’s Veneto region seeks an AI-focused developer to design and build AI-driven applications, focusing on practical implementation over specific tech stacks. You’ll work with LLMs, prompts, APIs, and rapid prototyping to turn business ideas into production-ready features, collaborating with a team and traveling as needed.

You will work with modern AI tools, be proactive in learning, and contribute to a technology-agnostic mindset while delivering high-quality user experiences.

• Hands-on experience or strong interest in AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering.
• Experience in software development with any modern language or framework.
• Ability to work with APIs and integrate external services into applications.

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or similar).
• Problem-solving attitude with a focus on building and iterating quickly.

How you’ll make a difference

• Design and build AI-driven applications leveraging modern tools, frameworks, and platforms, with a focus on practical implementation over specific technologies.
• Develop and integrate solutions based on Large Language Models (LLMs), including prompt design, chaining, and orchestration of AI capabilities.
• Write, test, and iterate effective prompts to guide AI systems toward reliable and high-quality outputs.
• Leverage APIs (including AI services and third‑party platforms) to create end‑to‑end intelligent solutions.
• Experiment with emerging approaches such as vibe coding, rapid prototyping, and AI‑assisted development workflows.
• Transform ideas and business needs into working prototypes and production‑ready features through hands‑on development.
• Explore and adopt new tools, libraries, and platforms in the AI ecosystem, maintaining a technology‑agnostic mindset.
• Continuously test and refine AI‑driven features to improve performance, accuracy, and user experience.
• Stay up to date with advancements in generative AI, LLMs, and developer tools for AI‑assisted coding.

What we’re looking for

• The gross annual salary for this position ranges from €28,000 to €42,000. It may be adjusted based on the candidate’s skills and experience beyond the required level. The role is covered by the CCNL Metalmeccanico Industria (CNEL code C011).

What we would consider a plus

• Experience with AI tools, frameworks, or platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, etc.).
• Practical experience with prompt design, evaluation, and optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted coding tools and rapid prototyping approaches.
• Background in Microsoft ecosystem (C#, Python, Azure, Copilot 365, Copilot Studio).
• Experience working on experimental projects or MVP development.
• Availability for occasional short‑ and medium‑term business travel.
