About the job

The Team

Here at Robomagister, we are passionate about Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Food. You will become part of a dynamic team with diverse backgrounds aiming to make an impact in the food industry.

The Role

You will be responsible for designing and implementing complex AI systems that leverage Computer Vision and Large Language Models (LLMs) in our R&D department.

The Workplace

Our company is located in Reggio Emilia. We offer in-person work; optional 1 or 2 days of smart working per week can be considered. No full remote options.

The Work you'll do

• Design physical embedded systems for specific inference tasks in constrained environments
• Develop and train multi-modal AI models for these tasks
• Gather, label, and store data from prototypes to enable training
• Manage cloud and physical machines for model training
• Validate models through onboard execution on prototypes
• Collaborate with R&D team to implement data collection systems and develop new features

MANDATORY

• At least 3 years of experience in designing and training AI models
• At least 5 years of experience in software development
• Residence in Italy and Italian language proficiency at least B2 level

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with Artificial Vision models
• Experience with Large Language Models
• Knowledge of AI libraries
• Knowledge of cloud systems
• Knowledge of networking
• Knowledge of databases
• Basic knowledge of image handling
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems
• Basic knowledge of version control (git)
• English proficiency at least B2 level
