The Role

You will be responsible for the design and implementation of a complex AI system that leverages both Computer Vision and LLM techniques in our R&D department.

The Workplace

Our company is located in Reggio Emilia. We offer in-person work; optional 1 or 2 days a week of smart working could be considered, but no full remote.

The Work you'll do

• Design physical embedded systems to complete a given inference task in a constrained environment
• Develop and train AI multi-modal models to complete the tasks
• Gather, label, and store data from a prototype of the embedded system to enable training
• Manage cloud or physical machines to perform model training
• Validate the model through its execution on the prototype
• Collaborate with the R&D team to implement physical data collection systems and develop new features

The qualifications you need

MANDATORY

• Advanced experience in designing and training AI models (minimum 3 years)
• Advanced experience in software development (minimum 5 years)
• Residence in Italy and Italian language proficiency of at least B2 level

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience in Artificial Vision models
• Proven experience in Large Language Models
• Good knowledge of AI libraries
• Good knowledge of cloud systems
• Good knowledge of networking
• Good knowledge of databases
• Basic knowledge of image handling
• Basic knowledge of embedded systems
• Basic knowledge of version control (git)
• English language proficiency of at least B2 level
