About the job

As Fatboy Brand Ambassador you will be responsible for selling your assigned portfolio through all channels; online, retail and B2B. Representing Fatboy in the South-Italy, you will be responsible for enriching existing relationships as well as activating new business. You will think and act on a tactic and strategic level and use your extensive market and product knowledge smoothly.

Being part of the Italian team, reporting directly to the Country Manager and the Chief Commercial Officer it is also crucial that you enjoy working independently, meaning working from home office and / or be on the road a good part of your job to visit customers.

It’s a role for the South Italy with occasional trips to the HQ in the Netherlands. You will get together for regular digital meetings with our team in Italy and Brand Ambassadors in other Countries and with the International Sales Director. Because we like to keep everyone informed and in the loop, you will also be in close contact with your colleagues from Sales Support and e-Commerce who are based at the headquarters in the Netherlands.

This is what you will do

You are responsible for achieving the assigned sales targets for South Italy, in particular for the Regions Campania, Puglia and Basilicata, Calabria, Sicilia.

You enjoy being on the road, since quite some travelling is part of the job;

You will create new business and further expand existing business in the various channels – online, B2B, and retail - while communicating our brand values effectively;

You know Fatboy’s brand values like the back of your hand, can translate them into action, and contribute to the visibility of our products online, with retailers and B2B partners;

You are in charge by making a plan in line with the Fatboy strategy, including objectives for each customer and take care of the implementation and follow-up;

You are the one our customers want to talk to in person, but also during online sales meetings and virtual events.

Who are you?

You have 4-8 years of experience in a similar commercial role;

A background in the design / furniture / homeware industry is a plus;

You are fluent in Italian (at least C2) and intermediate (at least B1) in English;

You know your way around online, retail and B2B channels;

You live in South Italy;

You have got a good sense of humor, loads of energy and you’re ready for success;

  • You enjoy negotiating and you always keep our brand values in mind;
  • You are a great listener;

You are bursting with energy and excited to expand the Fatboy brand!
