We are looking for an Area Sales professional to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Smart Infrastructure Buildings area.

Do you like understanding customer/partner needs and helping them along the way to success? Are you passionate about studying market trends and identifying the latest and most innovative opportunities to support the business? If you feel at ease building long-lasting partnerships with clients/partners and enjoy collaborating in a fast-paced team, we have an exciting opportunity for you within our Siemens Buildings Team for a specific territory of reference in Lombardy.

Some of the main activities will be:

  • Ensures efficient territory coverage
  • Plans and ensures sales volumes, customer/partner visits, and strategic activities in assigned territory
  • Analyzes specific market conditions and builds a sound market-related network of stakeholders
  • Prepares and prioritizes customer/partner contact based on potential and opportunities and builds and maintains a customer-focused network
  • Develops business via selected partners with significant potential – increase share of wallet
  • Provides information for forecasts and planning via CRM system
  • Provides support to partners, with a main focus on customer benefit, customer potential, and customer satisfaction (managing outlets, marketing activities, campaign management, etc.)
  • Coordinates and negotiates proposals in cooperation with Back Office/other involved professionals and management and uses their support for efficient serving of customers wherever possible
  • Acts as a focal point in building trusted partnerships inside Siemens and on the client’s side

To be a perfect fit for this role, you would already have:

  • A professional background in the technical promotion department within building automation
  • Technical Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Automation, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering
  • Knowledge of HVAC business and related fields
  • Ability to manage Sales Policy in terms of Pricing, Discount, General Terms & Conditions in the specific market
  • Orientation towards achieving targets and customer orientation; Building networks competence
  • Availability for frequent business trips
  • A passion for continuous growth
  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co-create and share knowledge
  • Proficiency in English and Italian
  • Eligibility to work in Italy
