We sell state-of-the-art process measurement technology for customers in the biopharmaceutical, chemical and brewery industry, as well as pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes for the pharmaceutical and food industry through to cell and DNA research.

How you can make a difference

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team and drive market penetration of our process analytical products across Central and Southern Italy. This position does not involve managing people or teams but is really focused on developing the sales market in this region.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the region
  • Identify and acquire new customers to expand our market presence in the central and south of Italy
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure long-term business growth
  • Demonstrate and present process analytical technology and related accessories to prospective clients
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions
  • Willingness to travel in the region up to 70% visiting clients (occasionally abroad for team meetings or training)
Qualifications
  • At least 3 years of sales experience with proven track record in technical sales, ideally within process automation or sensor technology
  • Technical education in a STEM matter (electronics, chemistry biology or similar)
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry is an advantage, but not essential
  • Knowledge regarding process sensors used in the above-mentioned industries' processes is an advantage
  • You are technology savvy (Microsoft office, CRM systems, etc.)
  • You are customer focused and build and sustain positive and collaborative relationships with your customers (internal and external)
  • You are a self-motivated person and a team player with strong communication skills
  • You are used to organize your work independently and in international teams as an integral part of it
  • You speak Italian and are fluent in English, written and spoken (C1 certificate)
