A leading company in liquid filtration seeks a B2B Sales Engineer to support and grow business in the food and beverage sector. The role involves customer acquisition, market analysis, and product improvement. Ideal candidates will possess a technical degree and extensive B2B sales experience, particularly in the food sector. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with German as a plus, along with readiness to travel frequently.

Eaton's Filtration Division is a leader in liquid filtration, providing customers with sustainable filtration solutions that improve product quality, increase production efficiency and protect people and equipment.

As part of this mission, we are looking for a

  • for our filtration products for the wine or beverage produciton, to work remotely in Italy.
  • What you’ll do
  • Technical and commercial support and negotiation with selected customers
  • Develops the sales through the acquisition of new customers
  • Defines and implements effective sales tactics / plans to grow our business and develop new market opportunities
  • Involvement in product and process improvement
  • Systematically observes and analysis markets, customers and competitors’ activities and provides input / feedback to marketing and business development
  • Cooperates and interacts on a regular basis with the European Technical Sales / Customer Service Team
  • Manages his activities in his sales territory and regularly tracks actual sales vs plan to achieve sales and performance targets
  • Reports regularly about customer visits, projects and the market situation in an effort to enhance market insight of our organization
  • Represents Eaton Filtration in a positive and professional manner inside and outside of Eaton
  • Qualifications
  • Technical or engineering degree, or equivalent.
  • Completed studies or vocational training in oenology, beverage technology, food technology, or as a cellar master / viticulture technician, or a comparable qualification.
  • Professional experience in B2B sales of consumer goods, preferably in the food and wine market.
  • Strong sales experience in the filtration or life sciences industry.
  • Skills
  • Extensive B2B commercial experience, ideally in the food and beverage sector,
  • Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory, German is a plus
  • Understanding of product specifications, customers processes and markets dynamics,
  • Ability to work self-dependent and autonomous in the day-to-day activity with a “hands on” approach,
  • Strong customer and service orientation, Business acumen and ability to influence decision making of key stakeholders
  • Proven excellent communication and negotiation capabilities as well as presentation skills
  • Good command of MS Office and experience in the use of ERP software
  • Willingness to travel frequently
