A global tools and equipment company is seeking an Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business in Italy. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of sales experience, preferably in tools or electrical sectors, along with the ability to manage distributor networks and meet sales targets. Fluency in Italian and English is required, with the possibility for travel across Italy and internationally. This role includes competitive benefits and an attractive bonus system.

Position : Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location : Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business within Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, with the ability to manage their own schedule, meet clients face-to-face, and possess confidence in selling. A background in tools or electrical sectors, along with good sector knowledge, is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and growth.
  • Develop the distribution channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including :
  • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
  • Managing and evaluating existing distributors.
  • Identifying, developing, and contracting new distributors.
  • Focusing distributor efforts on vertical markets and differentiated products.
  • Developing new customers to meet sales targets.
  • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
  • Conducting market research and monitoring competition and trends.

Critical Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • Over 8 years of sales experience in the industry, with experience selling power tools or electrical products.
  • Experience managing international distributor networks in Italy.
  • Proven sales success as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
  • Residing in South Germany with eligibility to work in Germany.
