Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business within Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, be capable of managing their own time, and be confident in face-to-face customer interactions. Experience in tools or electrical sectors and a good sector understanding are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and promote organic growth.
  • Develop the distribution channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
    • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
    • Managing and evaluating existing distributor relationships.
    • Identifying, developing, and negotiating with new distributors.
    • Focusing distributor efforts on vertical markets and differentiated products.
    • Developing and managing new customer relationships to meet sales targets.
    • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
    • Conducting active market research and monitoring competition and trends.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, with a background in selling power tools or electrical products.
  • Experience managing international distributor networks, especially in Italy.
  • Proven sales success as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Residing in South Germany with eligibility to work in Germany.
