Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business with accounts in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, be confident in face-to-face customer interactions, and possess knowledge of tools or electrical sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and growth.
  • Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
  • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
  • Managing and evaluating the existing distributor base.
  • Identifying, developing, and negotiating with new distributors.
  • Focusing the distributor network on vertical markets and differentiated products.
  • Developing and managing new customer relationships to meet sales targets.
  • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
  • Conducting active market research and monitoring competition and trends.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, with a background in selling power tools or electrical products.
  • Experience managing international distributor networks, particularly in Italy.
  • Proven track record as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German language skills are a plus.
  • Eligible to work in Germany and reside in South Germany (home office).
