Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business within Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, be confident in face-to-face customer interactions, and possess knowledge of tools or electrical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and growth.
  • Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
    • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
    • Managing and evaluating existing distributor relationships.
    • Identifying and onboarding new distributors, negotiating contracts.
    • Focusing the distributor network on vertical markets and differentiated products.
    • Developing and managing new customer relationships to meet sales goals.
    • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
    • Conducting active market research and monitoring competition and trends.

Critical Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, with a background in power tools or electrical products.
  • Experience managing international distributor networks in Italy.
  • Proven sales success as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German is advantageous.
  • Residing in South Germany with eligibility to work in Germany.
