Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business in Italy. The ideal candidate has a background in field sales, is confident in face-to-face customer interactions, and preferably has experience in tools or electrical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and growth.
  • Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
    • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
    • Managing existing distributor relationships through evaluation and benchmarking.
    • Identifying and onboarding new distributors, negotiating contracts.
    • Focusing the distributor network on vertical markets and tailored product offerings.
    • Developing and managing new customer relationships to meet sales goals.
    • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
    • Conducting market research and monitoring competition and trends.
Critical Skills & Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of sales experience in the industry, with a background in Power Tools / Electrical products.
  • Experience managing international distributor networks in Italy.
  • Proven track record as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
  • Residency in South Germany and eligibility to work in Germany.
