A leading global manufacturer is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to drive sales in Italy. You will develop distributor relationships, achieve sales targets, and conduct market research. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least 8 years of sales experience, especially in power tools. Fluent Italian and English required. This position offers an attractive benefits package and the opportunity to work remotely from South Germany.

Position: Area Sales Manager, Italy - DE - Remote Office

Location: Remote (Home Office) in South Germany

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to develop new and existing business with accounts in Italy. The ideal candidate will have a background in field sales, be confident in face-to-face customer interactions, and possess knowledge in tools or electrical sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets to increase revenue and organic growth.
  • Develop the Distribution Channel for Cleco / Apex in Italy, including:
    • Presenting products and solutions to customers and prospects in Italy.
    • Managing and evaluating existing distributor relationships.
    • Identifying, developing, and negotiating with new distributors.
    • Focusing on vertical markets and differentiated product offerings.
    • Developing and managing new customer relationships.
    • Handling quotations, negotiations, and order processing.
    • Conducting market research and monitoring competition and trends.
Critical Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • At least 8 years of sales experience in the industry, selling similar products (Power Tools / Electrical).
  • Experience managing international distributor networks, especially in Italy.
  • Market management experience in Italy.
  • Proven track record as an Area Sales Manager.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Italy and internationally.
  • Fluent in Italian and English; German is a plus.
  • Eligible to work in Germany and reside in South Germany (home office).
