Position: Sales Manager of Northern Italy (Milan)
The Sales Manager works with named or large key accounts to provide product solutions, develop new business, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain positive ongoing relationships.
Responsibilities
- Identify, plan, and execute sales opportunities.
- Prospect and develop a business development pipeline.
- Respond to customer RFPs.
- Develop and present customer proposals.
- Establish and develop relationships with key contacts within potential customer organizations.
- Manage current customer relationships, utilizing excellent relationship-building, negotiating, and technical skills.
- Build a Business Case and Establish Value: develop and present proposals demonstrating how INFINIDAT solutions meet business objectives and justify sales.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of direct enterprise selling experience in storage and virtualization solutions.
- Proven track record of exceeding quotas and generating referenceable business in storage; start-up experience is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of storage, data warehousing, and database concepts.
- Experience in technical specifications required to sell INFINIDAT products and services.
- Successfully executing complex sales cycles with CxOs.
- Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and consultative sales techniques.
- Strong understanding of how technology solutions solve business problems and knowledge of the competitive landscape.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior managers about their business challenges and INFINIDAT solutions.
- Proven prospecting skills, including penetrating accounts, reaching decision-makers, and closing deals.
- Ability to manage a territory to maximize revenue and efficiency.
- Passion for post-sales customer success.
- Drive change and evangelize new technologies.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with experience in both large companies and startups.
- Knowledge of storage industry specifics: Fibre Channel, NFS, and Enterprise Storage architectures.
- Competitive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Willing and able to travel extensively.
