A medical device company is seeking an Area Manager for Hospitals to define and implement a commercial strategy across Northern Italy. This full-time role requires strong negotiation skills and a degree in scientific subjects. You will manage the client portfolio, supervise the sales network, and develop relationships with hospitals and private providers. The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of experience in the healthcare market.

Air Liquide Medical Systems specializes in medical devices for treating respiratory diseases. The company develops, manufactures, and sells innovative products in three main areas of respiratory medicine:

  • Ventilation: ventilators and patient interface devices (masks) for intensive care, emergency treatments, transport treatments, and home therapy.
  • Aerosol therapy devices
  • Devices for the emanation of medical gases

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Reporting to the Sales Manager and within the Commercial Department, the person will be responsible for defining and implementing the commercial strategy for the hospital sector in Northern Italy, coordinating a team of Agents and Distributors.

  • Manage and develop the client portfolio, including public and private hospitals, home care providers, and resellers, by establishing and strengthening solid relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Supervise and effectively lead the Sales Network (Agents and Distributors), working closely with the team to manage relationships with Hospitals, Doctors, and Clients.
  • Prepare and conduct tenders, defining relevant parameters.
  • Ensure a constant flow of information on activities and results through effective and concise reports.
  • Actively participate in marketing and communication activities to promote products and company developments, strengthening the brand.
  • Provide post-sales support to Clients and other Functions.

Are you a Match?

  • Degree in scientific subjects
  • At least 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in structured multinational environments operating in the Healthcare Hospital market (Mechanical Ventilation)
  • Excellent negotiation skills, customer and result orientation, relationship building, and development of commercial strategies. Deep understanding of the healthcare market.
  • Strategic planning and budget management skills. Ability to analyze market data and translate it into concrete actions.

Work Location: Bovezzo (BS)

Regions of responsibility: Lombardy, Liguria, Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Piedmont, Aosta Valley, Sardinia
