Position: Architectural Sales Manager

As an Architectural Sales Manager, you will develop relationships with key stakeholders involved in projects (indirect customers such as architects, façade consultants, developers/investors, and general contractors) to identify and create sales opportunities for Guardian products. You will support growing profitability by specifying improved product mixes and more profitable options, leveraging internal capabilities (such as TAC, customer-facing teams, Pricing Team, Marketing) to maximize value creation.

Our Team

You will join a team of 10 Architectural Design Managers located in Europe, plus 2 Territorial Sales Managers in the country, reporting to our Regional Sales Manager. This position is remotely based in Lombardy, Italy.

What You Will Do

Focus on projects’ early stages. Collaborate with primary architects and façade consultants to get Guardian glass specified, through:

  • Understanding architects’ activities and tender documents;
  • Providing support and advice on Guardian products, applications, and innovations;
  • Specifying glass details in collaboration with TAC and architects, delivering samples swiftly, and supporting specifications across the value chain to deliver full façade solutions;
  • Ensuring timely communication with architects from early project stages and providing continuous feedback; cultivating service capabilities and product knowledge;
  • Finalizing specifications and drawings, resulting in a final design ready for bidding.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
  • Fluent in English and native/bilingual in Italian;
  • Knowledge of tools and technologies such as Salesforce, Power BI, Office, BIM, AutoCAD;
  • Basic understanding of negotiation processes and preferred outcomes, familiar with different negotiation models;
  • Ability to evaluate costs and benefits of products using analytic approaches like cost-benefit analysis to identify comparable competitor products;
  • Ability to partner independently with customers, build relationships, and leverage insights to identify opportunities, prioritize products based on market, industry, and legislative conditions.
