Protos Check, part of the Protos Group, seeks an Architect or Engineer with infrastructure experience to provide technical assistance to Public Administration bodies in Rome. The role is freelance (VAT-registered) and involves on-site inspections, reports, and collaboration with Protos Check and client offices.

You will verify safety upgrade projects, support supervision of operators, and travel for site assessments.

Competenze

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering is required.
• Registration with the relevant professional board.
• At least 3 years of post-graduation experience in infrastructure.
• Solid background in the infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of infrastructure safety regs, preferably Legislative Decree 264/06.
• Willingness to travel for on-site inspections in Rome.

Description of offer

For Protos Check, a company within the Protos Group, we are looking for an Architect or Engineer with experience in the infrastructure sector. The selected candidate will provide technical assistance and specialized support to Public Administration bodies on behalf of Protos Check.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance in the safety upgrading of tunnels within the national road network, aimed at their commissioning and operation;
• Support through desk-based activities related to the supervision and monitoring of infrastructure operators;
• Collaborate in verifying compliance of safety upgrade projects with applicable regulations;
• Carry out on-site inspection activities to directly assess the condition of infrastructures and monitor work progress;
• Prepare technical reports, site inspection reports, and summary documentation.

Degree in Architecture or Engineering

• Degree in Architecture or Engineering;
• At least 3 years of experience following graduation;
• Registration with the relevant professional board;
• Solid professional background in the infrastructure sector;
• Knowledge of infrastructure safety regulations and, preferably, Legislative Decree 264/06;
• Availability to work at Protos Check and client offices in Rome;
• Willingness to travel for on-site inspection activities;
• Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and aptitude for on-site technical assessments.
