CAE, based in Milan near Malpensa, is seeking an apprentice simulator technician to support the maintenance of flight simulators on-site and in the field. The role offers hands-on learning, a structured shift pattern, and involvement in preventive maintenance and scenario preparation.

You will gain exposure to QTG testing, equipment readiness, and collaborating with senior engineers, while following safety and data policies within a flexible, growth-oriented environment.

• Relevant technical qualification or practical experience in a technical or engineering role.
• Motivation to learn and develop in a technical environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic communication skills and willingness to collaborate with colleagues.
• Commitment to complying with company security, data protection, and information handling policies.
• Ability to use a computer and standard office tools.
• Physical ability to bend, stoop, and work in confined or ground-level environments.

Mansioni

• Learn and prepare the simulation training equipment for daily operation using standard readiness checks.
• Learn and perform preventative maintenance per published schedules for each training device.
• Learn and carry out QTG according to the published monthly schedules for each device.
• Learn and load appropriate exercise scenarios and other tasks for training sessions.
• Be taught to check reported snags, verify simulator operation and rectify basic issues.
• Be taught and assist in restoration of failed equipment or refer to more senior staff.
