Amazon.com Services LLC in New York, USA is seeking an Applied Scientist II to lead advertising incrementality measurement leveraging ML, DL, and causal inference at Amazon scale. You will translate data into customer journey insights, work with product managers, and drive production-ready solutions.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and collaboration across engineers, economists, and product managers to shape the future of Amazon Advertising measurement

Competenze

• 3+ years of building models for business applications.
• PhD or Master's degree with 4+ years in CS, CE, ML or related field.
• Experience programming in Java, C++, Python.
• Experience in algorithms, data structures, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing.

Mansioni

• Apply expertise in ML/DL, AI, and causal modeling to develop new models that describe how advertising impacts customers’ actions
• Own the end-to-end development of novel scientific models that address the most pressing needs of our business stakeholders and help guide their future actions
• Improve upon and simplify our existing solutions and frameworks
• Review and audit modeling processes and results for other scientists, both junior and senior
• Work with leadership to align our scientific developments with the business strategy
• Identify new opportunities that are suggested by the data insights
• Bring a department-wide perspective into decision making
• Develop and document scientific research to be shared with the greater science community at Amazon
