Job summary

Amazon Prime Video is seeking applied scientists with a strong machine learning background to advance GenAI in audio, video, and language technology. You will develop and fine-tune LLMs and new multimodal models for translating, transcribing, and generating multilingual cinematic content.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to deliver high-impact, scalable AI solutions and drive customer-centric experiences across Prime Video.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building models for business applications.
• Patents or publications at top-tier conferences/journals.
• PhD, or Master’s + 4+ years in CS/CE/ML.
• Proficient in Python, DL frameworks; strong LM knowledge.
• Audio/text experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and fine-tune LLMs and multimodal models for translation, transcription, and generation of multilingual cinematic content.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and domain experts to deliver high-impact AI solutions.
• Design and evaluate GenAI approaches for subtitles, captions, and localization tasks.
• Analyze model performance, robustness, and explainability; defend results with data.
